Israeli army confirms it has carried out airstrikes in southern Gaza's city of Rafah
The IDF says it carried out aerial attacks in Rafah after earlier reports of armed skirmishes involving their stationed troops and Palestinians. The attacks mark the first airstrikes Israel have launched since a US-brokered truce came into force late last week.
